Purdy’s Winter Fundraiser 2020

Go to www.fundraising.purdys.com and in the top right hand corner, click on register if you’re new or sign in if you’ve done it before. Our group number is 35369 Orders can be picked up December 10 after school by students only in the choir room – remember 25% of the profits go to your Magee student in their own separate travel credit account.
Fundraising at Magee Music!
There are lots of opportunities here in the Magee Music Department for finding ways to help yourself to earn money for trips and other events within the music department. There are two types of fundraising that we do here at Magee Music, the large format fundraising, such as the paper shredding fundraisers and the Magee Market Fair, and proceeds from those go to the Music Society who helps out the department by paying for things like clinicians to work with your children or for new instruments or financial aid for students for trips. The other kind of fundraising is individual, such as poinsettia sales and Purdy’s chocolate sales – and the profits from those go into individual student accounts called travel credit accounts which students can access for anything within the music department – trips, retreats, festivals, any events within the music department that may require a fee you can use travel credits for. After your grade 12 year, your credits are transferrable to another person in the music department, but they are not cashable and if there is no one to transfer them to, will go into the general music society account which will help students in the music department.
Our next Document Shredding event will be on Saturday May 1st, 2021 from 10am-2pm! Come bring your shredding needs to the driveway at the south end of the school and watch your documents being shredded right before your eyes on a tv screen in a matter of seconds! This service is by donation, however minimum suggested donation is $10 per box.
Purdy’s Chocolate sales for Christmas take place in Mid October from Thanksgiving – November 12th and can be purchased online by clicking here . Once on the site, click login (if you are a returning customer from previous years) or register if you are new and enter the customer number 35369 (the number for Magee) and then click join campaign and fill out your orders and make sure you type in the student name that the sales profits (25%) will go to! Pick up will be at the school in the choir room in December afterschool.
Another holiday tradition is our annual Poinsettia Sale. Get your 6.5″ poinsettias in red, white, or pink for $12; or a tropical planter or a 22″ berries and bows wreath for $30 each! Order deadline is TBA and pick up will be in the rotunda on TBA from 2:30-4pm. Check with your child for an order form or you can click here and we can get an order form to you.
